Show us your team!

I fell in love with the Australian team during the world cup. From their first game to their last, I was rooting for them. I have followed them on and off since then, but never been good keeping up with any team. Go socceroos!

Aliens. I consider this one of the best scifi movies ever. The original and the sequel are the best of them, and this is one of the most kick ass scenes.
So last night I went to a party for a coworkers 50th. Her daughter
threw her a toga themed party. Lots..and lots of wine. I clearly drank
too much. Today I am just very tired though. Luckily not
hungover. My stomach is a bit iffy but thats hard to know why
since it usually is. I had a great time. It was good seeing folks from
my old position and hanging out with them, but knowing I still have my
new position.
Today is kind of a laid back day for me. Ya I need to do stuff like
laundry and run errands, but I am also just going to sit and relax. And
probably watch HSM for the umpteenth time. I am sure that I will
eventually get tired of it, but not anytime soon. And odds are when I
move, it is a movie that will keep me company which will work out well.
=)
What was (or is) your favorite subject in school?
Math =)
Ahhhhhhh. Its been ages since I posted. Life is NUTS! Commuting almost 3 hours a day on top of my ten hour work day has me busy AND tired. But in the long run, so worth it.
Not much new going on. My new obsession is High School Musical. Especially. Troy...and his portrayer Zac Efron. What? You say he is young! Yes I know. Its my burden to bear, but I do it happily.
I now have a crotch icon. It isn't Hugh's crotch, but its not a bad crotch! Not many people will get that, but I am sure singularity will. Whee!
Anything new going on in the world of Vox and the few of you in my neighborhood? Do tell. I am trying to check regularly now but its difficult to find the time. I hope all is well.
So things have
been crazy lately for me. Since the beginning of last week I have been
mentoring a class as they learn how to troubleshoot video. My hours
went from afternoon 130-10 to morningish 10-630. That was a bit of a
change. Also, I am in a class so no time to check email or anything
online. I am having to wait until I am home and by then I am tired.
Hence my lack of posting and stuff.
But...good
things. I got a new position with my company. It is going to require me
to commute, which will be quite difficult, but in the pig picture it
will be worth it. I got a good enough raise to cover the commute and to
help when I eventually move up there. I hope to be up there by end of
the year (on the long side). So that is a good thing with all
that is hectic lately.
I also want to
say yay for new friends. I am still getting into the swing of all
things Vox, so its nice to have a few new folks in my neighborhood. I
like my international contingent: Australia, Germany and Bangladesh.
Welcome all of you. =)
So I am going to
start adding folks to my neighborhood who I think would be interesting.
I don't expect to be added back, but I want to get a little interaction
going here. So if I add you and you have any questions, drop me a
comments and I will reply or comment on your end. =)
Yay for babies! I
am so happy. One of my longtime friends just became a father. I am so
happy for his new family! I don't have any kids of my own (yet) but I
love it when my friends have kids of their own. =)
They're Matrix-esque :)You like close fitting wraparound type of glasses too? read more
